Xiaomi REDMI Watch 6 NFC – a large AMOLED display for everyday use

Xiaomi REDMI Watch 6 NFC offers a square 2.07-inch AMOLED display that makes it easy to read the time, notifications, activity results and health data. The 432 × 514 pixel resolution, 324 PPI density and 60 Hz refresh rate ensure that content is clear and navigation through the interface remains smooth. The screen occupies 82% of the front surface of the case, and the symmetrical bezels are 2 mm wide. HBM brightness of 1500 nits and peak brightness of up to 2000 nits help you read information even when using the watch outdoors. The available Always-on Display mode lets you check the time without waking the full interface each time.

Over 150 sports modes and activity tracking

REDMI Watch 6 NFC can accompany the user during running, cycling, hiking, gym workouts and many other forms of exercise. The watch offers over 150 sports modes, helping you tailor data recording to the chosen activity. During training, the device can monitor heart rate and estimated energy expenditure in real time, making it easier to analyse exercise intensity and compare subsequent sessions. Activity information is saved on the watch and can be synchronised with the Mi Fitness app, which makes it easy to review training history and track progress.

24-hour health monitoring

A set of sensors enables round-the-clock monitoring of heart rate, blood oxygen, stress levels and sleep once the relevant functions are enabled. The watch can display alerts about an unusual heart rate or too low blood oxygen levels, helping draw attention to changes recorded during the day. Sleep analysis allows you to observe the course of rest, while four breathing exercise techniques support moments of calm. A women’s health management function with cycle reminders is also available. The 5 ATM water resistance rating allows the device to be used while swimming in a pool and in shallow waters, and the watch also supports heart rate measurement during swimming.

Built-in GNSS for outdoor activities

The built-in GNSS module enables route tracking during outdoor workouts without needing to use the smartphone’s positioning system. The watch supports five satellite systems: GPS, Galileo, GLONASS, BeiDou and QZSS. The dual L1 antenna system automatically selects the antenna receiving the stronger signal depending on how the device is worn. This solution helps to record the course of a run, cycle ride or hike reliably, even in places where buildings or terrain may make signal reception difficult.

Slim design and convenient control

The watch case measures 46.45 × 40.03 × 9.94 mm, and weighs about 31 g without the strap. The aluminium alloy frame combines low weight with a design suited to everyday wear. The touchscreen is complemented by two physical controls: a stainless steel rotating crown and an additional button providing access to the control centre, power menu and configured emergency contact. The quick-release system makes it easy to change the strap, and automatic interface orientation changes allow the device to be worn comfortably on either the left or right wrist.

Long battery life, Bluetooth calls and NFC payments

The 550 mAh battery offers up to 24 days of use with light usage, up to 12 days with normal usage and up to 7 days with intensive use of the watch’s functions. The built-in microphone and speaker enable Bluetooth calls when paired with a smartphone, so you can answer a call without taking the phone out. The NFC version supports contactless payments with Mastercard and Visa cards at compatible terminals, although service availability depends on the region, bank and supported card. Bluetooth 5.4 connectivity allows notifications and data to be synchronised with the Mi Fitness app, and the remote camera control function lets you use the watch as a phone shutter release.
