Extralink CERES (extralink ceres switch ex3906 8x) is a 10-port PoE switch with 4 modes of operation: AI QoS mode, AI VLAN, AI Exten and smart power mode. AI QoS mode is ideal for surveillance applications, ensuring smooth video by processing with the highest priority video data.

Port separation using the VLAN function

The extralink switch has AI VLAN mode, so ports 1-8 are isolated from each other, which helps to effectively suppress starvation storms and improve network performance.

Powering cameras up to 250 meters and monitoring device performance in real time

In AI Extend mode, ports 1-8 can effectively transmit data and PoE power over a distance of up to 250 meters, which is ideal for surveillance systems and when powering cameras or access points. In AI PoE mode, the switch automatically detects the operating status of the connected device, when it finds that the device is working incorrectly, it automatically restarts the device.
