Advanced management and safety functions

The TL-SL2218 managed switch has a range of second layer management features to extend application capabilities including 802.1Q VLAN support, port isolation, port mirroring, STP/RSTP/MSTP, port aggregation and 802.3x flow control. In addition, maintenance features such as loop back connection detection, cable diagnostics and IGMP snooping are available. IGMP snooping allows intelligent multicast streaming only to specific subscribers, while IGMP throttling and IGMP filtering restrict access to multicast for unwanted users.
