Teltonika RUT281 – compact LTE Cat 4 router

Teltonika RUT281 is a compact router designed for creating mobile connections in business, industrial and IoT installations. The LTE Cat 4 modem enables access to mobile networks, while Wi-Fi 2.4 GHz and two RJ45 Ethernet ports make it easy to connect wired and wireless devices. The small dimensions of the enclosure mean the router can also be installed in places with limited space.

SIM card and eSIM technology support

The router supports a physical SIM card and eSIM technology, offering greater flexibility when choosing an operator and deploying the device in distributed locations. The eSIM bootstrap function allows the initial profile to be downloaded without the need to configure it on site in advance. This solution helps reduce the number of service visits and improves connectivity management in installations involving multiple routers.

Connection switching and aluminium enclosure

Automatic WAN failover and load balancing functions help maintain network access in the event of a loss of the primary connection. The router is also equipped with a digital input and output available via a four-pin power connector, which expands integration possibilities with IoT installations. The aluminium enclosure protects the components, while the RutOS system offers configuration, monitoring and remote device management functions.
