Global LTE Cat 4 connectivity

Teltonika RUT986 is an industrial cellular router equipped with a global Telit LTE Cat 4 modem. Support for two SIM cards and eSIM technology makes it easier to use services from different operators and helps maintain connectivity in distributed installations. The eSIM bootstrap function enables the initial download of the operator profile without the need to install it beforehand.

Advanced interfaces for industrial applications

Four Ethernet ports allow network devices to be connected, while the RS232 and RS485 serial interfaces enable integration of the router with controllers, meters, sensors and other industrial equipment. The RUT986 also offers GNSS support and multiple inputs and outputs, increasing its potential use in automation, telemetry and remote monitoring systems.

Industrial protocols and remote management

Support for Modbus, DNP3 and OPC UA protocols helps in collecting and transmitting data between devices and higher-level systems. The router supports zero-touch deployment and works with the Teltonika RMS platform, which enables central monitoring, configuration and management of devices located across multiple sites.
