High-end media converter - TP-Link MC111CS

TP-Link MC111CS is a media converter designed for bi-directional conversion of 100BASE-FX fiber optical signal to 100Base-TX signal conducted with copper cable. By using WDM technology, the MC111CS media converter uses only one fiber optic cable to transmit and receive data, saving half the cost of cabling. Designed according to IEEE 802.3u 10/100Base-TX and 100Base-FX standards. The MC111CS is designed for use with single-mode fiber optic cable using SC-Type connector.

Long-wave LX transmission

According to the specification of long-term LX optical transmission, the MC111CS converter provides fast speed of wired data transmission. The device sends 1550nm wavelength signals and receives 1310nm wavelengths. The device to which the converter is connected must send signals of 1310nm wavelength and receive 1550nm wavelengths. An example of TP-LINK device cooperating with MC111CS is MC112CS.

Standalone device

The converter can work as a stand-alone device, or be mounted in 19' TP-LINK cabinet, and thanks to the front indicators LED the status of the device will always be visible.
