Media converter TP-Link FC311B-20
Media converter with a gigabit RJ45 port and a gigabit SC fiber connector that converts electrical and optical signals. Long distance data transmission over fiber optics is ideal for commercial scenarios such as Wi-Fi networks and video surveillance in parks.
It supports WDM (wavelength division multiplexing) technology, allowing data to be sent and received over distances of up to 20 km over a single single-mode fiber cable, resulting in significant savings during network deployment. The wavelength is 1550 nm when sending data over fiber and 1310 nm when receiving data. This device can be used without chassis installation.
Main advantages
- One RJ45 10/100/1000 Mbps port with auto negotiation and Auto MDI/MDI-X support
- Auto-negotiation in half duplex and full duplex mode
- Support for WDM technology that enables transmission and reception of data on a single optical fiber
- Increase the range of fiber optic transmission to 20 km
