MikroTik Cloud Router Switch CRS328-4C-20S-4S+RM is a manageable MikroTik switch equipped with 4 (SFP + Ethernet) Combo ports, 20 SFP slots and 4 SFP+ slots. These ports can also be selected programmatically, so if you have all eight cables connected, you can use scripts to decide which four combo ports are active. With Dual Boot the user can select one of the two operating systems on the device, SwitchOS or RouterOS (Level 5).

Two operating systems to choose from

SwitchOS provides Layer2 functionality, supports IEEE 802.1Q up to 4K VLAN ID at the same time, security port, port isolation, IGMP Snooping and connection aggregation. Using RouterOS we have full access to Layer3 functions similar to other MikroTika products, which can be useful.

Perfectly matched components

The CRS328-4C-20S-4S+RM runs on a Marvell 8DX3236A1 processor with 800 MHz and a chip 98DX3236A1 known from the CRS328-24P-4S+RM or CRS326-24G-2S+RM. Additional advantage of the device is 512 MB RAM. Maximum throughput (non-blocking) is 64 Gb/s and transfer speed is 95.2 Mp/s. The device is delivered in a 1U rack 1U enclosure with two 100-240V power supplies with failover function. The RJ45 console port is available for management and debugging, and the mode button can be customized to execute any RouterOS commands.
