Huawei MA5608T is a Gigabit Passive Optical Network (GPON) integrated optical access device. It is designed to build various types of networks: FTTC (fiber to the neighborhood), FTTB (fiber to the building), FTTO (fiber to the office) and FTTH (fiber to the home). Optical Line Terminal (OLT) combines ultra-fast traffic aggregation, switching and routing capabilities with interface speed, supporting throughputs of tens of gigabits per second.
This modular platform is designed for mounting in a 19" rack with a height of 2U and with 2 service board slots, combined with full front serviceability, make it ideal for deployments in space-constrained areas, outdoor cabinets or building basements. The MA5608T features AC DC power options and an extended temperature range, ensuring easy installation and maintenance of the line terminal.
Huawei MA5608T is used to build a passive GPON/ EPON optical network. It has 2 slots. Two GPON cards can be installed, each with 16 PON ports. The possible number of subscribers: GPON - 4096. It is very important that the software of this modification is fully compatible with the software of other models in the series.
