Huawei MA5800-X7 | OLT | 2x MPLA, 2x PILA 10G Uplink modules

EN
TheHuawei MA5800 is the industry's first intelligent aggregation OLT with distributed architecture, which is positioned as the next-generation OLT for NG-PON.
The MA5800 OLT series comes in four models MA5800-X17, MA5800-X15, MA5800-X7 and MA5800-X2. The chassis is designed to fit the 19" rack standard, the OLT 5800x7 is 6U high and has slots for 7 service boards.
The product is designed to help operators create networks with more capacity, higher speeds and smarter connectivity with better service.
The OLT terminal provides access to GPON, 10G PON, including XG-PON and XGS-PON, as well as P2P 10GE/GE.
The device supports deployment in FTTH, FTTD, FTTB and FTTC networks and is applicable to scenarios such as home access, enterprise access, as well as wireless Internet access to combine all services into a single fiber network. The HUAWEI MA5800 Optical Line Terminal functions as a high-capacity device in the network, aggregating traffic from ONTs, MDUs and campus switches, simplifying the network architecture.
TheHuawei smartax MA5800 uses a distributed architecture, the same as a router, in which service processing on the control board is distributed to each service board, improving system switching capability, performance and reliability.
The GPON OLT MA5800 supports a distributed cache for fast 4K/8K video startup or channel switching.
The device also supports VMOS video quality monitoring . Built-in probes on the boards are used to collect video indicators, and NMS is used for remote monitoring and performance query monitoring, which improves video O&M.
During OLT updates, the video service is not interrupted, enhancing the user experience.
With support for combo PON technology, the OLT MA5800 terminal can work with an embedded WDM1r optical module to ensure a smooth evolution from GPON to XG(S)-PON.
The Huawei MA5800-X7 can be mounted in a 19" wide cabinet. The modular platform is equipped with slots for installing service cards, allowing you to install up to 7 modular GPON cards (16 ports each with gpon SFP C or C modules ).

Possible causes:
- active standby switch command is executed manually
- the original active control board is defective
- the physical port or line on the original active control board is defective
- the active control board is defective, which caused the system to switch safely
- the "daughter" synchronization card of the original control board is defective
- the system performs periodic switching
The throughput of a single Huawei MA5800-X7 slot is 200 GB/s.
