The MikroTik NetBox 5 ax is a powerful dual-chain outdoor device that can perform multiple roles in the network due to its versatility. The powerful 5 GHz Wi-Fi 6 radio and handy SMA connectors allow you to add different types of antennas. The RP-SMA/m (HGO-antenna-OUT) antenna capability allows you to create an excellent omnidirectional access point, while using the mANT30 PA antenna (MTAD-5G-30D3-PA) allows you to build a powerful long-range point-to-point link.
The NetBox 5 ax features a rugged, weatherproof enclosure, ideal for use in harsh outdoor environments. A state-of-the-art Qualcomm Maple processor based on ARM architecture, 256 MB of RAM and a USB 2.0 port for additional storage are just some of its advantages. A 10/100/1000 Mbps Gigabit Ethernet port with PoE input and advanced beeping functions for various alarms and creative outputs are other advantages of this device.
The designers of the NetBox 5 ax took care of the convenience of network administrators. The housing can be opened with one hand, making maintenance and installation much easier. Ethernet outputs are located at the bottom of the device, behind a protective door. In addition, the device is equipped with a metal mounting brace for easy installation on a tower or pole, and a DIN-rail mount is included.
The NetBox 5 ax runs on MikroTik RouterOS Level 4 software, which provides a wide range of management and configuration features. The device is powered via PoE 18-28VDC , and comes with a gigabit PoE injector, a 24V 1.2A power supply, as well as a DIN rail mount and pole mounting bracket.
