It operates in two bands - 2.4GHz band that provides up to 300MB/s, and 5GHz band that provides up to 867MB/s. Four external antennas combined with Beamforming technology ensure perfect coverage. In addition to the basic router function, the device can also serve as an access point. With the smartphone app Tether, the Archer C6U is quick and easy to set up.
The router is ideal for work and play. For normal Internet use and correspondence, the lower bandwidth of 2.4 GHz (300 Mbps) is used. For more demanding operations, such as playing online games or streaming high-quality video, the Archer C6U will use the higher bandwidth 5 GHz at 867 MB/s.
Forget about dead zones. Beamforming technology with four external antennas provides excellent coverage and signal propagation throughout the home.
Don't be afraid to connect all your home devices to the Internet. MU-MIMO technology ensures fast speeds even with multiple connected devices without overloading, lagging, or slowing down the Internet.
There is a USB port on the side of the router where you can connect a USB stick or an external drive and create a home multimedia center. You'll also find LAN ports for wired connection to devices such as monitors, TVs and game consoles.
