TL-WA860RE WiFi Range Extender with AC Passthrough

TL-WA860RE is a WiFi Range Extender with a socket outlet with compact dimensions and the possibility of mounting it in a power socket allow for easy placement of the device. The built-in power outlet allows you to connect an additional device to the power supply, while two fixed antennas provide a long signal range and connection stability. The TL-WA860RE is an easy way to extend the range of the wireless network in places that are difficult to put cables through. The TL-WA860RE signal amplifier is compatible with 802.11n/g/b devices.

Range Extender button

The TP-LINK TL-WA860RE wireless signal amplifier has been designed to extend the range and amplify the signal strength of the existing wireless network to eliminate dead zones. With wireless connections in the N standard with speeds up to 300Mb/s, the small size and effortless installation of the device allows you to easily and quickly extend the range of your wireless network.

Easy to place

The miniature size of the device and the possibility of mounting it in a power socket make it easy to mount and move. In addition, the profile memory function allows you to remember the settings of previously broadcast networks, so that when you change the router, the device does not require reconfiguration. With AC Passthrough, an additional device can be connected to the mains so the Range Extender does not take up a socket.

Plug and Play

Users can easily extend the range of their wireless network, without any additional cables, but only by placing the device in range of an existing wireless network. Just press the WPS button on the router, then the Range Extender button on the amplifier in any order and you can enjoy access to the Internet.

Connection via Ethernet cable

The TL-WA860RE's single Ethernet port allows it to be used as a network card to connect wired wireless network devices such as Blu-ray players, game consoles and digital TV set-top boxes. The device simultaneously amplifies WiFi signal.

High speeds

Speeds up to 300 Mbps in N standard of the TL-WA860RE WiFi amplifier are ideal for uses such as 3D/ HD video streaming, online gaming and internet telephony.

Signal indicator

The WifiFi Range Extender has LEDs that indicate the strength of the wireless network signal, helping to determine the right location to place the device for the best possible range and high performance wireless connections.

How to configure a range amplifier using the WPS button to extend the range of an existing wireless network?

1. Connect your WiFi amplifier to an electrical outlet near the main router/AP.


2. Press the WPS button on the main router/AP, then the WPS button on the amplifier.


After pressing the WPS button of the router/AP, the WPS LED of the router/AP should blink. If this LED is not flashing, you must press the WPS button again until the WPS LED of the router/AP starts flashing. The same is also relevant for the Range Extener. When you press the WPS button of the range extender, the WPS/RE LED of the range extender should flash. If it is not flashing, press the button again.
