Stable operation and fast hot start

The BLITZ M10 GPS V2 module has been equipped with solutions supporting signal reception and processing. Built-in LNA, RF filter and TCXO help maintain suitable operating conditions for the GPS unit, and tracking sensitivity of -167dBm allows signal reception in line with the module specification. Hot start is 1 s, so reacquiring data can be quicker. After a cold start, the declared time is 27 s.

Compass and controller communication

The integrated QMC5883L compass expands the module’s capabilities without the need for a separate component of this type. The GPS RX/TX UART interface is used for GPS communication, and the compass pins use SDA/SLA. The module supports baud rates from 9600 to 460800 and a range of 4800bps-921600bps, with a default value of 115200bps. The input voltage is 3.3-5.5 V, so before installation you can adapt the connection method to the build you are using.

Precise positioning in the Maxi version

BLITZ M10 GPS V2 supports GPS, Galileo and other GNSS systems listed in the material specification. The module offers high-precision positioning, speed accuracy of 0.05 m/s and a refresh rate of 10 Hz. The maximum altitude is 80000 m, and the maximum speed is 500 m/s. The design can operate at a maximum acceleration of ≦ 4G, which allows these parameters to be taken into account when designing and configuring the device.

Compatibility with selected builds

The Maxi 25*25*6 version is indicated as compatible with Centurion X8 and Taurus X8 Pro Max builds.
