Xiaomi or Dreame?

I'm sure many people are wondering, so is this vacuum cleaner from Xiaomi or from Dreame? Let's go back to 2015 - that's when Dreame Technology was founded, an innovative company with the goal of "improving the lives of users around the world". The company specializes in high-quality cleaning products using aerodynamic technology. At the end of 2017, Dreame joined Xiaomi's ecological chain as its driving force and leading company in smart cleaning products. As a result, Dreame today belongs to the Xiaomi brand and produces its products under both the Xiaomi and Dreame brands.

Xiaomi Dreame relatively recently unveiled a new cordless vacuum cleaner, the V11, which features a colorful and quite informative display. The cordless upright vacuum cleaner code model: VVN6, weighs about 1.6 kg (depending on the accessories connected) and comes in metallic red and silver color and LCD display. Equipped with a 12 cone cyclonic dust separation system, as well as intelligent power management. Which translates in this model to high efficiency and effective removal of microorganisms and fine dust particles accumulated on the surfaces we use. Its power of 450W and 25.2V~ and the use of cyclone technology allowed the engineers to divide its operation into, three modes:

ECO MODE - lowest suction power, with up to 90 minutes of running time.
MED MODE - medium suction power, in this mode you will work for about 30 minutes due to the increased suction power.
TURBO MODE - the strongest power and highest mode of this vacuum cleaner, which also translates into time and power consumption, the battery will allow us unfortunately only 10 minutes of work at these settings.

The size of the container used in this model does not differ significantly from others on the market. It can hold 0.5 l, which is not a bad thing, because remember that this is a handheld vacuum cleaner, so the larger the container, the greater the weight and comfort of use of the entire device will be smaller. The container is convenient for emptying, quickly get rid of accumulated dust and particles. Additionally, you can unscrew the filter, which makes the process of cleaning the container even more efficient. The noise level is about 73 dB and charging time is about 230-240 minutes.

On the packaging we find some information about the dimensions (net packaging weight 3.74 kg, gross packaging weight 5.96 kg packaging dimensions 767mm x 280mm x 166mm) and appearance of the purchased equipment.
After opening it, we see that in a well-protected cardboard box there are individual parts of the vacuum cleaner:

After unpacking and familiarizing yourself with the manual(and a small remark, the manufacturer does not translate it into Polish), you can proceed to self-assembly, which is simple and does not require too much energy and knowledge, because it comes down to connecting the appropriate tips to the main nozzle, either directly or using appropriate extensions, depending on the specificity of the surface that you intend to clean with the device, according to the scheme presented by the manufacturer in the manual:

On the panel in addition to modes and locking also displays the level of battery consumption. It is visible as a blue line around the displayed icon of the selected mode.

Vacuum cleaner is designed to clean surfaces such as laminate, tiles, etc., and with the appropriate tips can also be used to drawers, window frames lampshades and even upholstery, wherever it was difficult or practically impossible to reach other models on a daily basis.
NOTE: This vacuum cleaner is not suitable for cleaning wet or damp surfaces, or surfaces contaminated with large particles such as plaster or plaster residues, glass, petrol and chemicals such as ammonia, pipe cleaners and other liquids.
Importantly, the manufacturer advises that before using the vacuum cleaner to remove from the surface you want to clean threads, long hair and fur, so if you have at home furry friends should rethink the purchase because, first brushes can not cope with the removal of this type of pollution and secondly, you expose yourself in the event of damage that may not necessarily be subject to compensation if it would arise as a result of blockage by this type of pollution. After completing the work, most tips wash under water after which they must be left for 24 hours to dry properly, do not wash the elements associated with the electronics, because the moisture will damage them. If there is a thread or hair on the brush shaft, remove it with scissors.

The vacuum cleaner collected 17.94 grams of flour from the 20 grams spilled.

During the tests, we noticed that the working times that the manufacturer provides for each mode are slightly exaggerated and so with the ECO mode on a fully charged battery can work about 70 minutes, on MOD mode - about 17-20 minutes, while the mode TURBO only 7 minutes. What's worth noting is that at the very end of each mode, if the battery was already very weak, the vacuum cleaner itself went into power-saving mode and the rotation slowed down. (this may affect the manufacturer's assessment of the working time with those of our tests)

In summary, the Dreame Cordless Vacuum Cleaner V11 did a very good job of removing dirt of various weights from the surface of the panels, as a mid-range vacuum cleaner given the parameters should fully perform on a daily basis, but without a big wow.
