Precise measurement of the Dallas Temperature Sensor
FIBARO Dallas Temperature Sensor is a digital temperature sensor with programmable resolution. It communicates with Fibaro using the 1-wire interface. Used mainly in places where precise temperature measurement is required. Dallas Temperature Sensor DS-001, based on DS18B20, is connected to the device, and these are FIBARO products, such as Door/Window Sensor, Universal Binary Sensor or Smart Implant.
Reliable temperature sensor
After placing the probe in a suitable cover, it is possible to install the sensor under the floor, in concrete, under water, e.g. in an aquarium. It has alarm function with user-programmable upper and lower trigger points. The Dallas Temperature Sensor can take power directly from the data line.
Features FIBARO TEMPERATURE DALLAS SENSOR DS-001:
Requires only one data line for 1-wire communication

Does the 1-wire data line only support one sensor?
Each DS18B20 has a unique 64-bit serial code that allows multiple DS18B20s to operate on the same 1-wire bus.
Which devices support the temperature sensor?
The Dallas temperature sensor supports 1-wire communication devices and FIBARO products such as Door/Window Sensor, Universal Binary Sensor and Smart Implant.
Where to mount the temperature sensor?
The sensor should be installed in places where we need precise temperature measurement (aquarium, fireplace, guest room, child's room, sick room).
Is the sensor resistant to unusual conditions?
No, the sensor must be protected against unusual conditions, especially when placed under water or in concrete.
What is the resolution of the measurement?
The higher resolution enables a wider range of measurements, but this results in greater measurement uncertainty. Set the resolution as required, according to specifications.
