Xiaomi Mi Robot Vacuum Cleaner is an intelligent robot keeping your home clean even in your absence. Thanks to the laser room scanning system it plans the cleaning route perfectly, not forgetting the hard to reach places.
Mi Robot with 12 different sensors is a highly intelligent cleaning device. Three different processors track its movements in real time and calculate data using the Simultaneous Localization and Mapping (SLAM) algorithm to determine the layout of the house and determine the cleaning route.
The Laser Distance Sensor (LDS) allows the robot to scan the surrounding area up to 1800 times per second at a 360 degree angle, thus mapping the interior of the house precisely.
The device is equipped with three specialized processors that track the device's movements in real time, determine the location and determine the best routes.
The robot starts with the edge cleaning mode and zigzag cleaning mode. With a well-planned path it can automatically bypass obstacles and effectively reach all objectives that are to be cleaned.
After the work is completed, the cleaning robot returns to the charging station. Charging is automatic. When the power drops below 20% during operation, the robot returns to the charging station, charges up to 80% and continues its work.
For a smoother cleaning, the robot uses a powerful, brushless DC motor that provides pressure up to 1800 Pa. This is a low noise, high efficiency motor. The main brush automatically adjusts its height to get better contact with the surface and thoroughly remove dirt, even on uneven surfaces, and the side brush adjusts its speed for different types of cleaning.
Thanks to the wall sensor, the robot maintains a distance of 10 mm from the walls. With the help of a side brush, the device effectively cleans the edges. The side brush is screwed on, so it can be easily removed and replaced if necessary.
The robot has a modular design and consists of 7 parts. The device has an elegant white casing, a matching cover made in the IMR process of ABS with high strength and sides and bottom with a matt finish. To use the Xiaomi Mi vacuum cleaner, you have to turn it on and wait for synchronization with the application. When connected, you will see information about the area being cleaned, remaining battery power and time spent on cleaning. The following commands are also available in the application: send the robot to the charging station, start cleaning, use the extended cleaning mode.
