Yeastar SO is an optional module that is installed in Yeastar voice cardsand regular IP PBXs. The SO module provides support for one FXS port and one FXO port. With this module, PBXs and IP-PBXs can be configured with almost any combination of these ports, which is very convenient and practical.
In addition, Yeastar SO supports a unique bridging function: if for some reason an IP-PBX card or PBX is not working, the module connects them directly, allowing you to receive and make calls from a regular phone connected to the FXS port via a phone line connected to the FXO port.
Help: FXS interface allows to connect conventional analog phones, DECT phones, fax machines, and other devices equipped with FXO interface to IP PBX. The FXO interface allows you to connect to the IP-PBX a local phone line or any other line that is connected to the FXS interface at the other end.
