• Low link activity detection in 802.3az Energy Efficient Ethernet (EEE) - low network traffic is detected so that switch can adjust the power consumption of the link. The 802.3az function can be set by a switch on the housing.
• Detect inactive links - detection of inactive links or devices will reduce power consumption.
• Detection of wire length - this function adjusts power consumption accordingly and, based on the detected distance from the connected device, will reduce power consumption for nearby connections.
• No fans - quiet operation thanks to the design without active cooling, which makes ES1100 switches suitable for small rooms.
