Compatibility with IEEE 802.3az Energy Efficient Ethernet ensures energy efficiency without loss of performance. GS-108B v3 automatically detects power consumption based on the connected devices and cable lengths, therefore consuming less power for short distances between devices. Power consumption will be changed dynamically, depending on the number of inactive ports, and the detected lack of data transmission in the network will automatically switch to power saving mode.
