The Zyxel GS1900 series are compact, gigabit free-standing switches with a rack mount option that allow you to create a fast network in a convenient place, in offices or other rooms. They offer full IPv6 support and are compatible with the latest IEEE 802.3at PoE (Power over Ethernet) Plus standard up to 30 W per port, allowing you to connect multiple Ethernet powered devices. The intelligent Zyxel PoE function has two power modes: classification and consumption. In the consumption mode, GS1900-8HP/10HP/24HP/48HP models reserve the required amount of power and set power priorities on the ports for optimal distribution of the power budget. This allows more connected devices to operate and increases the (ROI) return on investment. GS1900-8HP switch supports IEEE 802.3at standard on all ports, with a power supply of 70 W by 8 ports.
The Zyxel GS1900 series of switches has an interface designed for the configuration and management of b>browser. This allows you to quickly and comfortably configure the network in four steps: initial settings, VLAN, Guest VLAN and QoS.

A manageable switch, such as the Gigabit Zyxel GS1900-8HP allows you to change the configuration via telnet, Web site or similar solutions and adapt it to the correct operation of the network.
Gigabit Ethernet is a data rate standard that is supported by the Zyxel GS1900-8HP switch and can be 1000 Mb/s (1 Gb/s).
Agregation of links, which is supported by Zyxel GS1900-8HP, allows faster and more reliable operation compared to a single line. It consists of a logical combination of two or more physical connections between devices, so that even if one of them fails, the connection will still work.
VLAN, which is a virtual local network, is a definition of a logical network that can be created in a manageable switch, which is Zyxel GS1900-8HP. It allows you to create a network of more than one physical network and at the same time isolate ports in such a way that devices physically connected from one group of ports do not have access to the other groups.
The PoE connector is able to transfer power, on a par with data, via a Ethernet cable to another device, allowing remote use of devices such as an IP camera or access point, without having to connect them to additional power. The GS1900-8HP switch has 8 such connectors.
