Economical RJ45 1.25G 100M SFP module from Extralink

Extralink 's 1000 Mbps SFP RJ45 module is a high-performance and cost-effective device that complies with Gigabit Ethernet and 1000-BASE-T standards as defined through IEEE 802. 3-2002 and IEEE 802.3ab standards. The SFP RJ45 insert supports data rates of 1000 Mbps at distances up to 100 meters for Category 5 Ethernet cable and 1000 Mbps full duplex data links with 5-level pulse amplitude modulation (PAM). All four pairs in the cable are used at a symbolic rate of 250 Mbps per pair. The Extralink SFP RJ45 provides standard SFP MSA-compliant serial ID information, which can be accessed with an A0h address via a 2-wire CMOS EEPROM serial protocol. The physical IC can also be accessed via the 2-wire serial bus at address A0h. The SFP RJ45 module is compatible with most gigabit SFP ports found in network devices. The device has an all-metal enclosure and therefore low EMI.
