Extralink SFP 1.25G optical transceivers are high-performance, cost-effective single-mode fiber SFP modules supporting data rates of 1.25 Gbps/1.0625 Gbps and a transmission range of up to 20 km with SMF. They use single-mode fiber for fiber optic transmission. Extralink SFP 1.25 G operates on alternating wave (Tx=1310 nm, Rx=1550 nm). The SFP 1.25 G optical module consists of three sections: a FP laser transmitter, a PIN photodiode integrated with a transimpedance preamplifier (TIA), and an MCU control unit. All single-mode SFP inserts meet Class I laser safety requirements.
SFP 1.25G optical modules are used in fiber channels, Gigabit Ethernet, switch to switch interfaces, switched backplane applications, router/server interfaces and other optical transmission systems.
